The new “Jujutsu Kaisen” compilation movie is almost here. And if you’ve paid attention to the latest updates, you know that it will include a new “Juju Stroll” scene with Gojo and Geto. Here are all the details you need to know on when “Jujutsu Kaisen: Hidden Inventory/Premature Death” will be premiering in Japan and when it will be available in the United States.

Japan Premiere Time (& U.S. Time Zones)
The compilation movie, along with the new scene that will air for the very first time, will be dropping in Japan on Friday, May 30, at 17:55 in Japan, according to the anime’s official TikTok account and X account. In the United States, this is roughly 4:55 a.m. Eastern.
At the premiere, there will be a stage greeting from special guests including Yuichi Nakamura (voice of Gojo), Takahiro Sakurai (Geto), Aya Endo and Yongse Anna.

Premiere Date & Time in the United States
GKIDS is licensed to release the movie in U.S. theaters, but not until July 16, 2025. It will be released in both dub and sub versions, according to GKIDS’ press release.
The movie is a compilation of the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death five-episode arc that aired on Crunchyroll, featuring Geto and Gojo’s high school years, and Geto’s subsequent heartbreaking fall, Games Radar reported. This is probably the most beloved arc of the anime and the one that still haunts fans to this day.
The movie will include a remixed soundtrack with 5.1-channel surround sound and rearranged select tracks. It includes animation by MAPPA and the production is by Toho animation, Crunchyroll reported.
GKIDS’ synopsis reads: “Before they were enemies, Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto were high school classmates and friends. The two powerful sorcerers are tasked with protecting Riko Amanai, a student who has been designated to be sacrificed as the Star Plasma Vessel, until she can fulfill her duty. Pursued by a religious cult and other curse users, they are the only sorcerers capable of carrying out such a difficult task – but this mission will set their destinies, and challenge the two sorcerers in ways unimaginable.”
