And the winner is … Miss New York Nina Davuluri! This is actually the second year in a row that a Miss New York contestant has won the Miss America crown!

Tonight, America’s Choice Winner was Theresa Vail, Miss Kansas. The semi-finalists included Miss Kansas (of course), California, New York, Oklahoma, Connecticut, Georgia, Mississippi, Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, Kentucky, Maryland, Florida, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. The 4th runner-up was Miss Minnesota, the 3rd runner-up was Miss Florida, the 2nd runner-up was Miss Oklahoma, and the 1st runner-up was Miss California.

The 15 semi-finalists are CA, NY, OK, CT, GA, MS, TX, AR, MO, KY, MD, FL, WI, MN, KS

For the swimsuit competition, the ladies strutted their stuff down the runway to Lady Gaga’s hit “Applause.” This was definitely a crowd favorite.

The celebrity judges included Lance Bass, Mario Pantone, Carla Hall, Joshua Bell, and several others.
