A married woman and model named Miriam Cruz has opened up about the viral video showing her kissing Latin singer Romeo Santos on stage during an Aventura concert.
“Miriam Cruz, known on social networks as Daysha Official, has gained notoriety after an event that placed her in the center of media attention: a kiss with the renowned singer Romeo Santos,” the Dominican podcast Alofoke wrote on its Instagram page. Santos is a Latin music superstar who fronts the bachata group Aventura.
The X page Tendencias de Espana shared Cruz’s Instagram post and video of the kiss.
The video shows the woman leaping into the singer’s arms in a very short miniskirt. A photo of the kiss also went viral.

Although Cruz’s Instagram page @dayshaofficial_ has 122,000 followers, there are no longer any visible posts. However, sites, such as Ciber Cuba, saved screenshots of a post on the page that read, “I don’t know where to begin, but I want to share how happy I am to have achieved this long-desired dream.” But the post added, “This achievement came at a very high cost: the breakdown of my marriage. I admit that I got carried away by the excitement without considering the impact this would have on my family.”
According to Rechismas Oficial on Instagram, Cruz’s husband filed for divorce after the incident.
Despiertatvmx reported that Cruz went on stage “asking to sing ‘La Guerra’ alongside Romeo Santos, and although her request was fulfilled, the kiss she gave the artist triggered a series of events that led to her husband’s separation.”
