Millie Bobby Brown Shares the Astounding Number of Pets She Keeps at Home

Millie Bobby Brown certainly has a full house. The “Stranger Things” star revealed on BBC Radio 1, “I have 25 farm animals, and then I have 23 foster dogs, and then I have 10 dogs in my house that are my personal dogs, and four cats.”

“I have a Rottweiler, a Golden Retriever, and a Great Dane. And then I have an 18-year-old blind Dachshund called Rigby who was left on the side of the road,” Brown continued.

As for how her husband Jake Bongiovi deals with all the animals, the actor said, “Only one is allowed in the bed now because Jake said, ‘No more in the bed.'”

Brown also has two donkeys, one of which is pregnant, and explained that the reason she got them was to deter coyotes.

She’s set to deliver the donkey foal herself and told the BBC Radio 1 hosts, “I have honestly been there for the births of many animals, and I love it. It’s such an amazing experience seeing that.”

Brown opened up about her animal-filled living situation on a March 11 episode of “Call Her Daddy.” She told host Alex Cooper, “I moved to Atlanta to film ‘Stranger Things’ and that was like 10 years ago.”

“My parents didn’t want me to stay or live in LA [and] they didn’t want to live in LA. They really wanted to kind of shelter me from the society out there just because it can be overwhelming for child actors, so they kept me in Georgia,” Brown continued.

Brown, who lived with her parents at the time, moved out when she was 18 years old and bought a farm next door.

While only 10 dogs live inside with her, Brown told Cooper that the other 23 live in a sanctuary that she built specifically on her property for rescues.

Brown Went on a ‘Date’ With a Four-Legged Friend

On March 13, Brown gave a dog some love by going on a date with him. In a clip shared by The Dodo, the “Damsel” star greeted Manchas, a dog that had lost his home in the Los Angeles fires.

“I love all animals, but dogs are so cute. I have my own rescue called Joey’s Friends, where we also save dogs all over the country,” she said.

During the date, Brown presented Manchas with several toys, one of which he ran away with, causing the actor to laugh.

Her husband then walked in and pretended to be affronted by the date. “What is going on here?” he asked.

“What do you mean? I wasn’t cheating, babe! I love our marriage, but look at this boy,” Brown replied.

Bongiovi agreed, “I know. Well, he’s going to make a very good dog for somebody.”
