Millie Bobby Brown, who skyrocketed to fame at the age of 12 for playing Eleven on Netflix’s sci-fi horror hit “Stranger Things” appeared on the March 12, 2025 episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast and dished to host Alex Cooper about marriage, farm life, and how she handled the creepiest thing a fan has ever done.
Millie Bobby Brown On Raiding Pamela Anderson’s Closet
Cooper kicked off Brown’s episode, which racked up over half a million views in less than a day, by asking the actress about her outfit.
Brown said her simple white fitted tee was from her own clothing line, Florence By Mills. She then revealed that her bell bottom pants with sheer panels and botanical sequined detailing belonged to none other than Pamela Anderson.
Brown explained that she connected with Anderson through a mutual friend, because she wanted all her outfits on the press tour for her latest project, Netflix’s big-budget sci-fi adventure film ‘The Electric State,’ to be ’90s archive.
Brown said Anderson sourced an “unbelievable” array of dresses from her own closet, plus the eye-catching pants, which Brown immediately knew she wanted to wear for the podcast.
On Celeb Friends & Doing Her Own Stunts
Brown said during the “Call Her Daddy” chat that she counts Tom Cruise and British singer-songwriter Raye, who was awarded Best New Artist at the 2025 Grammys, among her celebrity friends.
She called the “Mission Impossible” star inspirational and “epic” for performing his own stunts, revealing that she also does all of her own stunts, and likes being “the girl version” of the star.
On Georgia Farm Life & Being Called A ‘Trad Wife’
Brown said from the time she started filming “Stranger Things” until she turned 18, she lived with her parents in Georgia because they wanted to shelter her from L.A.
The Marbella-born Briton now has her own houses in Georgia and London. The animal-lover said she was inspired to build her own house because her parents cut her off from moving any more pets into their home.
She revealed she has now collected 25 farm animals, including donkeys and cows. Brown also has 10 indoor dogs, and 23 more that live in an outdoor sanctuary, many of which are rescues.
The starlet hilariously put on an American accent to say the name of her cherished Great Dane, “Barbie,” who she says people frequently mistake as being named “Bobby” due to Brown’s English voice.
She added that she chose her dog’s name well before the “Barbie” film craze of summer 2023.
Millie Bobbie Brown’s Reaction To Being Called A ‘Tradwife’
“Tradwife” is a term that entered the American lexicon in the mid-2020s and refers to “a married woman who embraces traditional gender roles, particularly focusing on homemaking, cooking, and keeping the house clean,” according to Parents.
Several TikTok stars have embraced the aesthetic. Hannah Neelman, known as “Ballerina Farm” on the app, is a notable example. The Julliard-trained dancer sparked fierce debate for leaving her dance career to move to a Utah farm with her husband Daniel, who is the son of the JetBlue Airways founder.
When Cooper asked Brown for her thoughts on people saying she’s in her “tradwife era,” Brown replied, “I get it. I understand why they would say that. I have chickens, I get the eggs, I know what it looks like.”
However, Brown assured the “Unwell” founder that she is not giving up her acting career anytime soon.
“I did get married young,” she said, referencing her May 2024 wedding to Jake Bongiovi.
“But I love my job,” the star went on. “I love being untraditional and unconventional.”
She then joked, “I love being on a farm and Jake does too. That would make him a trad husband!”
The Creepiest Thing A Millie Bobby Brown Fan Has Ever Done
The “Damsel” actress’s “Call Her Daddy” interview took a rather alarming turn when she described a morbid fan encounter.
“One time I had a man bring me a coffin with a doll of me in it,” Brown revealed.
She continued, “He wanted me to keep it, but I signed it and gave it back.”
Brown kept her cool during the strange incident, calling the project “cool” and pointing out how hard her fan must have worked on it, because she “didn’t want to make him feel bad.”
