Hulk Hogan’s Ex Posted a ‘Good Old Days’ Pic With Him 4 Days Before His Passing

Hulk Hogan’s first wife Linda Hogan posted a throwback Instagram photo of the two of them together just 4 days before his passing. “The good old days!” she captioned the pic which featured her in a sultry black dress and her ex-husband in his signature red and yellow wrestling gear.

Hogan, who was 71 at the time of his passing on July 24, was married to Linda from 1983 until 2009. The former couple shared two children, daughter Brooke, 37, and son Nick, 34.

Hogan rose to fame in the mid-’80s thanks to his big personality and impressive moves that he showcased as a wrestler with the WWE (then known as the World Wrestling Federation). He brought his then-wife Linda and his children into the spotlight in 2005 when the family starred in the reality series “Hogan Knows Best.”

Linda filed for divorce from Hogan shortly after their TV series ended in 2007 citing “irreconcilable differences.” The split was a messy one and dominated tabloids for quite some time.

When the divorce was settled in 2009, Linda told The Tampa Tribune (via People), “The war is over.” She also stated, “I still love him. He’s the father of my children,” and it was reported that she kissed Hogan on the cheek while in the courtroom.

Hogan told the outlet, “When you’re married to someone for 23 years … you hope for the best … We just got torn apart.”

Once the dust settled, it seemed the former couple mostly stayed out of each other’s lives. Which makes Linda’s Instagram post and the timing of it so poignant.

Despite the former couple’s tumultuous past, it’s clear Linda still had love for her ex-husband. Many fans have offered their condolences in the comments of Linda’s throwback Instagram post, but as of this writing she has not yet responded.
