“Law & Order” actress Odelya Halevi just tied the knot!
Halevi married luxury real estate agent Aaron Mazor in Tel Aviv, Israel, on May 30, according to PEOPLE.
The actress, who was born and raised in Israel, tied the knot in front of 180 guests at Ronit Farm. She gushed to PEOPLE on the big day.
“For me, Israel isn’t just a place; it’s home. It holds some of my most cherished memories. The people, the energy, the land — it’s where my heart always returns,” she said.
Halevi Wanted to Be ‘Surrounded by Nature’
The couple wanted a destination wedding and had to start planning a year in advance to coordinate everyone’s schedules.
They chose Ronit Farm due to the beauty of its natural and luscious scenery.
“We chose to marry in the afternoon, surrounded by nature — trees, water and the quiet serenity of the landscape. It felt like a fairy tale,” Halevi added. “The earth tones we picked were meant to reflect that setting — natural, warm and grounded.”
In addition to the stunning setting, the guests dined on a buffet which highlighted the cuisine of Israel.
“The food in Israel is some of the best in the world, and we wanted our guests to have the ability to try it all,” Halevi said.
Halevi Got Engaged in 2023
Halevi and Mazor ended up meeting through a mutual friend: comedian Andrew Schulz. The two were each separately invited to one of his performances at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, Halevi told PEOPLE.
“We met briefly during intermission and sparks flew. After the show, we headed to the afterparty where we fell into a meaningful conversation,” she said. “Aaron thought I was a little kooky, and I knew right away that he was a keeper.”
The 36-year-old announced her engagement to Mazor in a comical Instagram post on August 31, 2023.
“We’re no longer dating @aaron.mazor,” Halevi posted with an image of the two as she showed her new ring.
Prior to her marriage, Halevi told Us Weekly in October 2024 she will use the iconic “Law & Order” “dun dun” sound if she gets into a disagreement with Mazor.
“When I’m in an argument with my fiancé, Aaron, he always thinks he’s right about certain things,” she began. “When I win an argument, I just go, ‘Dun dun. I rest my case.’”
Halevi joined the cast of “Law & Order” in season 21.
