Kylie Jenner Pays Tribute to Late Friend and Support to His Family

After the unexpected death of her hairstylist and close friend Jesus Guerrero, Kylie Jenner is doing everything she can to provide comfort and solace to his loved ones. According to TMZ, the entrepreneur has been spending time with his family, and has offered to pay for the funeral. Sources say she is also helping bring Guerrero’s body home to Houston, his hometown.

Jenner Calls Him ‘a Light in my Life’ in Touching Tribute

While there was speculation that Jenner skipped the SAG Awards with Chalamet because of Guerrero’s death, many wondered if she would write a tribute to her friend after her sister, Kim Kardashian, posted an Instagram Story about him. So when she finally broke her silence on Instagram, her words were full of sincerity, admiration, devastation, and love — exactly what you’d expect from someone who lost someone dear to them. She also included a carousel of photos and videos of Guerrero.

“Jesus was more than my friend,” she wrote. “He was a light in my life, a source of laughter, comfort, love, and unwavering support. I don’t know how I would have made it through the last almost decade without him by my side. He had a way of making even the heaviest days feel lighter.”

“Thank you, Jesus, for always being there for me, for lifting me up, for being my friend,” she continued. “The pain of losing you is just unbearable and i don’t know how to move forward without you but I know great grief is born only of great love. and I loved you so much. You were the best person, with a talent that was unmatched. a true artist. You inspired so many, and you always will.”

“Your words, your laughter, your kindness, your beautiful spirit will live in my heart forever. I’ll cherish all our moments together. every laugh and hug. I wish I could hug you again. He Styled Some of Jenner’s Most Iconic Looks

Jenner and Guerrero started working together in 2019, and he was responsible for some of her most exquisite looks over the years. Guerrero sometimes referred to himself, Kylie, and makeup artist Ariel Tejada as the “3 Amigos.” Guerrero accompanied Jenner to Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week in January, posting an Instagram photo of her with the caption “Paris with my main girly!!!” He also styled her hair for the Golden Globes, which she attended with Timothée Chalamet.

Guerrero was a stylist to multiple celebrities, and he had photos of his work with Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry, Demi Moore, and others on his social media. On February 19, just days before his passing, Lopez posted her own Instagram photos of her trip to the United Arab Emirates and tagged Guerrero as part of her glam squad on her trip.

Many celebrities, such as Jessica Alba, have posted about Guerrero on their Instagram Stories. Others, including Paris Hilton and actress Shay Mitchell, have commented on his final Instagram post, but Jenner’s tribute summed up the hole that will be felt because of the loss of Guerrero.
