To kick off the 50th anniversary of the Academy of Country Music Awards, Eric Church and Keith Urban teamed up for a tribute performance to Merle Haggard, singing the song “Pledge Allegiance to the Hag.” During their awesome performance, the duo moved from stage to stage playing their guitars and then Eric Church took center stage for a solo part in the song. At the end of the song, Keith Urban had his own performance to showcase his vocals, singing “Raise ‘Em Up” while Church continued to accompany him on the guitar.
