Kate Hudson’s famous family, including mom Goldie Hawn and stepdad Kurt Russell, would appear readymade for a television reality show.
But she says they’d never do it, according to People Magazine.
“It’ll never happen,” Hudson said to People.

“Listen, my dad, he’s just too cool. He’d rather just be in Colorado just being dad… Snake Plissken doesn’t do reality,” she said, referring to Russell’s famous character in “Escape From New York.”
Hudson is currently starring in a new Netflix movie called “Running Point,” according to her Instagram page.
She posted photos showing her in a gold dress at the premiere and wrote, “t’s tricky being the first woman to run a pro basketball team and so we made a comedy about it 😜🏀💃 Can’t wipe the smile off my face!!! What a night, what a cast & crew, what an amazingly fun project to work on.”

In November, she shared a photo of Hawn and wrote, “elated but bursting with love for my light-filled, exuberant, poetic, and fiercely one of a kind mother. Your brilliance inspires me every day, and though I wish I could be cuddling her this birthday week, I’m celebrating her with all my love across the country. Happy birthday, Mama—you’re everything and more! @goldiehawn 🎂🥳❤️”
Hudson also shared an ode to Russell on Father’s Day 2024, writing, “Love my Pa so much! What a man, lucky me 💫 Love you Pa ❤️ Happy Father’s Day!”
In January, she shared a tribute to her son Ryder, writing, “Oh my baby Ryder ⭐️21 today⭐️ My cozy, hilarious, smart, dedicated, loving son. As a mama you wonder what this day will feel like and I have to say it is nothing as I expected. It’s better. Every milestone on this journey to adulthood has been a joy and every year as wonderful as the next. I love you so!!! 🥳Happy Birthday🥳” Hudson has three kids.
Hawn shared a video of the entire family at Christmas time.
She wrote a tribute to Hudson, saying, “Happy birthday, my darling daughter @katehudson! Among all the things you have already accomplished in your life—amazing mother, great dancer, Academy Award-nominated actress, and now a fantastic singer—let us not forget you were the fastest runner in high school and all of LA!”
