Julianne Moore is enjoying a summer filled with sunshine, effortless style & family by her side. On 12th August, the actress shared a carousel of Instagram photos capturing her August so far, including a glowing makeup-free selfie in a black scoop bikini top.

Soaking up the sun and showing off her make-up-free glow, she captioned the post simply, “August.”

Her photo set also included a screenshot of her impressive Wordle stats, boasting 441 games played with an 88% win rate, a birthday tribute to her dog, Hope, a golden-hued sunset, & a fresh caprese salad topped with large basil leaves.
Family Time in Italy
Moore’s August has already been filled with family moments. On Aug. 4, she posted a collection of vacation snaps from Italy featuring her husband, Bart Freundlich, & their children, Caleb & Liv.
The images included a sweet mirror selfie with Liv, candid shots of the children with their father, & glimpses of Caleb performing music outdoors. “Italy with my besties,” she wrote in the caption, reflecting the family’s close bond.
Chic & Relaxed Vacation Style
While exploring Italy, Moore opted for a breezy, all-white shirt & pants, paired with a black drawstring shoulder bag & black baseball cap. Liv coordinated with her mother’s light palette, wearing a white tee, denim shorts, & sneakers.
In another photo from the Italian getaway, Moore showed off a delicate black cord necklace adorned with seven fish charms, six in gold with gem-set eyes & one in a jade green hue.
Moore on Aging Gracefully & Letting Go of Beauty Pressures
At 61, Moore says she’s “kind of over” worrying about her looks. That’s not to say she doesn’t care at all: “everybody cares somewhat,” she recently told The Sunday Times. But getting older, she explained, has helped her realize what truly matters, and it’s not how perfectly her hair falls or how bright her skin appears.
Moore admits she was focused on perfecting her appearance for the camera. Now, age has shifted her priorities. “I think it’s because you have other things that you are interested in, such as family, relationships, work, or your community,” she said. “Being myopic about the way you look recedes.”

She’s quick to add that she’s not completely without vanity and doesn’t think anyone is. “I don’t think it goes away entirely, I don’t think there is a person in the world who couldn’t care less,” she said. “But the degree to which you are interested in that, and the fruitlessness of that, becomes apparent as you get older.”
Moore’s take on aging proves she’s proudly embracing the fine lines while fully enjoying the moments that matter most.
