Fans Think Jason Kelce Raided Travis Kelce’s Closet for a Recent Appearance

Jason Kelce brought more than just his famous charm to Kansas City’s Big Slick Celebrity Weekend — he also got a shirt straight from brother Travis Kelce’s closet.

The retired Philadelphia Eagles center caused a social media stir Saturday night when he appeared onstage at the star-studded charity event wearing a flamingo-patterned button-down shirt that Travis had worn publicly before. Paired with flip flops, a case of Garage Beer, and a football, Jason’s look instantly caught the attention of eagle-eyed fans.

Fans Find Jason Kelce’s Look a Little Familiar

As soon as Jason hit the stage, fans on X (formerly Twitter) pointed out the familiar shirt. “I think Jason forgot a shirt… so he raided Travis’s closet,” one user joked.

Even the official “New Heights” podcast account got in on the fun, posting, “LMAO We gotta talk about it @JasonKelce @tkelce.”

Indeed, Travis Kelce had previously worn the exact same flamingo-print shirt, making it a recognizable fashion moment for fans of the duo.

Jason, 37, made his surprise entrance during a skit at the T-Mobile Center on May 31, joining Travis, 35, and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. The moment happened during a bit where “Saturday Night Live” star Heidi Gardner asked Mahomes who should hike the ball. Several celebs volunteered — including the founders of the charity weekend, Jason Sudeikis, Paul Rudd, Eric Stonestreet, and Rob Riggle — but it was the future Hall of Fame center who ultimately strutted out with a football in one hand and a beer in the other to deliver the snap.

It was a rare chance for fans to see Jason in action after his retirement in March 2024 following 13 seasons with the Eagles. By the end of the weekend, the event had helped raise $4.5 million for Children’s Mercy Hospital.

Now that Jason is retired, he and Travis are getting more opportunities to hang out during the NFL offseason — and apparently swap fashion tips, too.

“I don’t know that [our relationship] changes,” Jason recently told Us Weekly at the Amazon upfronts. “I think we have more time to do things outside of football [than we do] in football season.”

He continued, “We’re both so focused on the season that’s happening… Once we’re done with the football season, then we can kind of just refocus back on family and do some of the things that we get enjoyment [from] outside of the game.”

Though they live far apart during the season — Travis in Kansas City, Jason in Philadelphia with wife Kylie Kelce and their four daughters — their podcast, “New Heights,” has kept them connected.

As for Jason’s latest viral fashion choice? It seems the brothers’ bond now extends to their closets, too — and fans can’t get enough of it.
