Hulk Hogan Debunks Rumors Amid Hospitalization

When it comes to the WWE, few names hold as much weight as the legend of Hulk Hogan. However, he has recently been at the center of some pretty severe rumors regarding his health, stating that he may be on his deathbed. Now, a rep for Hulk Hogan is denying the claims.

Hulk Hogan’s representative told TMZ that the rumors about his client were false. Instead, the person said that Hulk has simply been dealing with the same issues he’s had for a while. Notably, the former WWE star underwent neck surgery in May, and the representative says he’s moving around already.

As everyone knows, Hulk Hogan, like many former WWE stars, has lasting injuries from what he went through in the ring. This is particularly the case when it comes to his neck and back.

Hulk Hogan Still Has Ties to WWE and Wrestling in General

Hulk Hogan’s days of being in the ring for WWE fights may be over, but he’s still involved with the sport. First, he remains a brand ambassador for the organization. As a result, he frequently makes public appearances and has merchandise opportunities related to approving new items. Notably, he hosted WrestleMania 37 in 2021.

Outside of the WWE, Hulk Hogan co-founded the Real American Freestyle League in 2025. The league will focus on unscripted events similar to Olympic-style wrestling. According to AP News, it will hold its inaugural event in Cleveland, Ohio, at the Wolstein Center on August 30th.

Hulk Hogan said of the event, “Cleveland is an incredible city, and Real American Freestyle is channeling its rock and roll style into this first event.” The league has already signed some notable talent. This includes Olympic medalists and NCAA heavyweight champions.

It has a roster of 40 athletes. Chad Bronstein and Israel Martinez are the other two founders. Left Lane Capital backs the league.

Hulk Recently Debuted a Not-So-New Look

Naturally, Hulk Hogan is famous for his time in the WWE. However, a part of his notoriety comes from the way he has evolved his look over the years. According to The Economic Times, Hulk recently appeared on television sporting a two-tone beard look.

During his appearance, Hulk Hogan had a combination of black and white facial hair. While some were shocked, long-time fans know he originally began using the look in 1996 when he joined the New World Order wrestling group. Still, this evolution, like his others, is one reason he’s still one of the most talked-about WWE members.
