Harvey Specter is stepping back into the legal arena, and “Suits” fans are eating it up. Actor Gabriel Macht is officially making his return in “Suits LA,” and while it’s not a full-time gig, his three-episode arc already has people talking. Love him, hate him, or wish he’d stayed in New York, there’s no denying that Harvey’s presence is about to shake things up.
“Harvey Specter Walks Into a Bar…”
According to People, Harvey’s return kicks off on March 16. And his entrance? Classic Harvey. In a trailer showing the first look at his comeback, we see him strolling into a bar where Ted Black (played by Stephen Amell) is waiting. When Ted orders two beers, Harvey does what he does best—one-ups the moment. “Make it three glasses of Macallan 25,” he says, flashing that signature confidence. No hesitation, no small talk; just pure Harvey Specter energy.

Macht’s return isn’t just fan service (though, let’s be real, it is a power move). He hinted at it back in November 2024, making it clear he wanted to support the new cast and give the fans something to get excited about. Macht originally posted the news of Harvey’s return with a teaser on Instagram.
And while nothing is confirmed, he also teased the possibility of other OG “Suits” characters making an appearance. “There’s also some other characters that you’re going to see that were in the original. I don’t know if you’ve heard about any of them, but there are a few that are coming back. So those might be surprises,” Macht told People. That’s right; Harvey might not be the only familiar face showing up in LA.
What This Means for “Suits LA”
If you haven’t been keeping up, “Suits LA” shifts the action from New York to Los Angeles, following Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor who’s now making a name for himself as an entertainment lawyer. The show keeps the high-stakes legal drama but mixes in the glitz and chaos of Hollywood.
Harvey’s arrival is more than just a cameo; it’s a connection between the old and the new. He and Ted are bound to clash in the best way, and whether Harvey’s here to offer advice, stir up trouble, or just remind everyone who the real closer is, it’s guaranteed to be must-watch TV.
“Suits LA” began airing season one on February 23, 2025 and new episodes air Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on NBC (and streaming on Peacock the next day). So naturally the hype is only building even more as Harvey’s return gets closer. It also raises big questions: what’s he been up to? Why LA? And could this be the start of something bigger? No matter what, one thing’s for sure: Harvey Specter doesn’t make moves for no reason. And if he’s back, you know it’s going to be worth watching.
