Harrison Ford, Wife Callista Flockhart Find Haven on Wyoming Ranch

In a page ripped from “1923,” Harrison Ford and his wife Callista Flockhart have found a haven on a Wyoming ranch.

According to Hello! Magazine, Ford has owned the property near Jackson Hole since the 1980s, but he and his wife have made it their home. The magazine reports that Ford and Flockhart, who have been together since 2002, “prefer the quiet and serene lifestyle” they live in Wyoming.

The couple also owns a home in Brentwood, California, the publication reported.

According to Hello!, Ford’s ranch covers 800 acres and is located along the Snake River.

Ford told Parade that people are used to seeing him in Wyoming because he’s lived there for so long.

“I’m old news. I’ve been there for 35 years.” Ford told Parade, which reported that he likes the freedom of the mountain. “When I’m up in Wyoming, I just walk out the door and keep walking,” he told Parade.

“I think we all get something set in our heads early on. And the first time I saw Jackson Hole, I said, ‘This is the place that’s been in my mind all the time,'” Ford told his biographer, according to The Land Report.

According to the Land Report, Ford is skilled as a carpenter, so he has used those skills at his ranch.

“It was about water, streams, trees, animals, a grand expression of nature. The Tetons rising sharply from a flat, high mountain plateau,” Ford said about Wyoming, according to The Land Report. He bought the property when he was married to his first wife, according to Land Report.

Harrison Ford Says He Likes to Fly a Plane When He Is in Wyoming

Ford explained to Parade that he is a pilot and, when he is in Wyoming, he tries to carve out time for flying.

“Well, if my chores are done and there’s nothing more pressing and the weather’s good, I’ll go flying—I love to fly up there—or walk in the woods, do some work, ride my road bike or mountain bike,” he told the publication.

He joked in that interview that he has figured out the secret to a happy marriage and he gets to spend quality time with Flockhart away from Hollywood.

“Don’t talk,” he told Parade. “Nod your head.”

According to The Travel, Ford spends “most of his time” in Wyoming and values his privacy.
