The 58-year-old actress stunned at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival on Monday evening while attending the Chopard Universe Gala Evening. Berry opted for a deep maroon dress that complemented her skin perfectly. The strapless gown featured a satin, floor-length skirt that wrapped around her waist and revealed a middle slit in the front.

She paired the dress with ruby earrings and styled her hair in a short bob to highlight her shoulders. Sticking with the color theme, she completed the look with red pointed stilettos and silver jewelry to make a pop. Berry, who is serving as a festival jury member, reportedly led the red carpet arrivals for the jewelry brand. She quickly and most definitely set the stage for other celebrities.
According to Page Six Style, the “Catwoman” actress changed her outfit at the last minute after organizers implemented a revised dress code prohibiting nudity and “voluminous outfits, in particular those with a large train.”
“For decency reasons, nudity is prohibited on the red carpet, as well as in any other area of the festival. Voluminous outfits, in particular those with a large train, that hinder the proper flow of traffic of guests and complicate seating in the theater are not permitted,” the Cannes charter read. “The festival welcoming teams will be obligated to prohibit red carpet access to anyone not respecting these rules.”
A Pastel Chanel Queen
On Sunday, the “X-Men” alum teased the new dress code while attending Wes Anderson’s premiere of “The Phoenician Scheme.” She wore a white floral Chanel jacket that was left open in the front. Underneath, the actress revealed a subtle but stylish black lace bra. “Timeless with a twist @chanelofficial,” Berry captioned a set of glamorous Instagram photos.
The pastel-colored suit also featured a black bow tied at the neck to close the jacket, paired with wide-leg trousers of the same colors.
Berry is an Academy Award-winning actress known for her roles in films such as “Monster’s Ball,” James Bond’s ‘Die Another Day,” “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum,” and “Gothika.” She made well-deserved history as the first Black woman to win the Oscar for Best Actress for her performance in “Training Day.”
