Hailey Bieber Shares Sweet Photos Showing Her Cradling Son Jack Blues

Amid the constant chatter about her marriage to Justin Bieber or his health, Hailey Bieber posted two Instagram photos. The pictures didn’t address either of the subjects, but instead showed a calm, smiling Hailey cradling her son, Jack Blues. Jack’s head is covered by a red, knit bonnet, which Hailey’s hand is shown holding. While Hailey smiles serenely, Jack reaches out to grab her hair, and then her straw hat. If a picture is worth a thousand words, this one says six: The noise does not bother me.

The Couple Continue to Hide Jack’s Face in Photos

The photos make you feel like you’re catching a glimpse of a tender mother-son moment between Bieber and Jack. However, the reality is that the 28-year-old model and 31-year-old musician have been careful to cover Jack’s face in every picture. We’ve seen Jack’s little bare feet, wearing Jack Skellington pants and a little green onesie, but we’ve yet to know whose eyes, dimples, or even hair color he has.

Despite their reluctance to share Jack with the world, the couple has been open about their thoughts on parenthood. When hockey fan Justin was asked at Skate for LA Strong how soon he wanted to get his kids on skates, he responded, “as soon as possible!” and “it’s never too early!” Hailey, on the other hand, has more practical thoughts about motherhood.

Hannah Berner asked her how becoming a mom had changed her as she walked into the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. Hailey admitted that it changed her quite a bit, saying, “I’m going to go inside and be checking my baby monitor nonstop.”

Hailey Tries Hard to Brush Off Public Criticisms

Even before Hailey and Justin married, the two were subject to many rumors and speculation. Whether it was fans crushed that ‘Jelena’ was no more and blaming Hailey, or people reading into posts, navigating a marriage the public feels entitled to has been difficult for the entrepreneur.

“People have made me feel so bad about my relationship since day one. ‘Oh, they’re falling apart. They hate each other. They’re getting divorced.’ It’s like people don’t want to believe that we’re happy,” she told W Magazine. “I used to try to act like it hurts less and less. I’ve tried to think that you get used to it at a certain point, that this is what’s going to be said and this is how people are going to be. But I realize that it doesn’t actually ever hurt any less.”

Given her struggle compartmentalizing the negativity in her life, wanting to keep that from touching her son for as long as possible makes sense. For now, we’ll just have to use our imaginations to determine whether Jack looks more like his mama or his dad.
