The intense fan and media interest in Hailey’s life has resulted in many untrue reports, which have taken their toll. “I feel like I’ve fought so hard to try to get people to understand me, or know who I am, or see me for me. And people just don’t want to sometimes,” Hailey told Vogue in an interview on May 20. “And there’s nothing you can do about that. I’ve been in a position where I’ve tried to tell my side of a story or correct a narrative or tell the truth of a lie and then they go, ‘Well, she’s lying.’ Imagine how trapping that feels.”

She has learned to ignore the naysayers and not concern herself with the untrue narratives in the media, which she credits Bieber for helping her with. Instead, she is focusing on the good she gets to experience. “My real life is that I get to wake up to my beautiful family and my son and my friends, and I have people that know me and love me, and I love them,” she said.

What Has Hailey Bieber Said About Motherhood?

In her recent interview with Vogue, Hailey also discussed her postpartum experience and its impact on her life. She called it “the most sensitive time” she’s been through. “Learning a new version of myself is very difficult,” she adds. “And to be doing that all the while going on the internet every day and people being like, ‘They’re getting divorced and They’re this and They’re not happy …’ It’s a crazy life to live.”

This is not the first time Hailey has opened up about her struggles as a new mom, but she has also praised the experience. “Welcoming my son into the world has obviously changed my whole life,” she told Elle in October 2024. “That has been the best part of the year for sure.”
