Guy Ritchie Directing King Arthur Film

Guy Ritchie (director of Snatch and Sherlock Holmes) has agreed to direct a movie based on the story of King Arthur. John Hodge, who wrote The Beach screenplay, will help Ritchie write the script, Variety reports. Although the film will be a re-imagining of the classic story, it will be based on Thomas Mallory’s Le Morte d’Arthur which was written in 1485.
