Following her performance, Adele received a standing ovation from the crowd before James Corden was shown getting dressed for the show in a pre-taped video. Soon, Corden came out on stage, rising out from a platform, which appeared to get stuck. He then crawled out from the platform, only to fall between the cracks of the stairs. He finally made it out, only to lose a shoe and roll down the stairs. Jokingly flustered, Corden struggled to keep up with back up dancers and ended up interrupt their performance, sending them away.

Tonight’s Grammy Awards features tons of A-list performers and unexpected collaborations. Lady Gaga has teamed up with Metallica, which should make for an amazing set. In addition, there are several tribute performances and an In Memoriam segment. The Grammys will honor both Prince and George Michael at the awards, along with The Bee Gees as well.

Performers at tonight’s event include Katy Perry, Carrie Underwood, Chance The Rapper, Alicia Keys, Bruno Mars and several others.
