Ten years after “Glee” aired its final episode in 2015, the cast of the Emmy-winning series is set to make a major return later this year as they appear on “Celebrity Weakest Link.”
Hosted by actress Jane Lynch, who formerly portrayed Coach Sue Sylvester on “Glee” over the course of its six seasons, “Celebrity Weakest Link” is set to premiere on FOX on Monday, September 15 at 9:00p.m. ET, featuring a number of Lynch’s former “Glee” co-stars as they go head-to-head in the star-studded trivia competition series.
‘Glee’ Cast to Host Latest Reunion on ‘Celebrity Weakest Link’
Announced by Entertainment Weekly on August 15, the upcoming debut episode will see Lynch, decked out in Sue Sylvester’s trademark red tracksuit, joined by stars from series including Heather Morris , Amber Riley, Dot-Marie Jones, Jenna Ushkowitz, Chord Overstreet, Becca Tobin, Alex Newell and Max Adler.
The upcoming “Glee” reunion is the latest in a long list of times that the series’ cast has reassembled since the show wrapped more than a decade ago. Most recently, several of the cast’s musically inclined members reunited to release “Prayers for the Broken,” a track previously recorded by late cast member Naya Rivera, who tragically passed away in 2020, with all proceeds from the song going to one of Rivera’s favorite charities, Alexandria House.
“Glee” stars Lea Michele and Dianna Agron similarly reunited earlier this year when they appeared in the audience for fellow co-star Darren Criss’ performance in “Maybe Happy Ending” on Broadway.

Chord Overstreet

The couple welcomed their first child Rutherford “Ford” Thomas Martin via surrogate in February 2022.
Alex Newell

Alex Newell, who joined the cast of “Glee” as Unique Adams after appearing on its companion competition series “The Glee Project,” has since become a force to be reckoned with on Broadway.
