‘G.I. Joe Retaliation’ DVD Promises Ninjas and Hot Girls with Guns

In sea of 2013 action flicks, G.I. Joe Retaliation proved itself to be a diamond in the rough nobody expected. The film had multiple delays and the disappointing G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra from 2009, but rose up to provide an unapologetic action movie experience.

With a strong cast lead by Dwayne Johnson and rounded out with Channing Tatum, Bruce Willis and Adrianne Palicki, director John Chu pulled out all the stops and delivered a perfect Saturday night popcorn flick. Yes, it’s got your big guns and even bigger explosions, but the stand-out scene is the cliff-side battle between Snake Eyes and a horde of ninjas. The DVD comes out August 14th and is a safe bet for any fan of the classic big screen action films of the ’90s.
