“Grey’s Anatomy” alum Eric Dane and wife Rebecca Gayheart married in August 2004, according to People. In February 2018, as TMZ reported, Gayheart filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
But, now there’s good news for fans of the couple!
Gayheart has requested her divorce petition to be dismissed without prejudice, as reported by Page Six. Gayheart wishes to call off the divorce!

The couple has two children together – Billie, 15, and Georgia, 13.
Gayheart Has Posted Family Photos Since The Initial Filing
In 2022, Gayheart posted family photos with Dane and their kids together on a family vacation to Europe.
Gayheart revealed shortly after the divorce filing that she and Dane were working together on co-parenting, though it was difficult. Gayheart told Us Weekly, “We’re doing our best. It isn’t easy. But we are trying and we are committed.” The “Beverly Hills 90210” alum said there was “many things” that made co-parenting a challenge, but the couple has clearly worked through some of their issues.
In an interview with E! News, Gayheart revealed that she had taken years away from her career to focus on her family in July 2024.
