Dierks Bentley was in full character from the moment he stepped on the red carpet, appearing as a pilot on behalf of his song “Drunk On a Plane,” which he performed on tonight’s CMT Music Awards.

For his actual performance, Bentley nixed the costume, though he did have sexy flight attendants dancing in the crowd.
