Cassie Ventura Gives First Update Since the Birth of Her Baby

Singer Cassie Ventura has been in the news quite a bit over the last couple of years. Of course, many of the headlines have been for unfortunate reasons. However, she and her husband, Alex Fine, also welcomed a new baby on May 27. Now, she’s provided an update on the bundle of joy. 

This new baby marks Ventura and Fine’s third child. The first, Frankie, was born in 2019, and the second, Sunny, arrived two years later in 2021.

Ventura Shared Thoughts on Having a New Baby

Ventura has been fairly quiet since giving birth in May, as she and her husband have been adjusting to life with three kids. Now, according to TMZ, the singer has provided an update. Notably, she did so with a light-hearted post about the very serious topic of postpartum depression. 

Ventura did this by sharing a meme and using a text overlay that read, “When your old self slowly starts coming out of postpartum. It appears she shared the post from a page called “Moms with Plans.” She then added a caption at the bottom that said, “Factual. Little by little. lol”

For context, the meme itself depicts people at a gathering who don’t appear fully at ease, but they’re working through whatever is holding them back from being their true selves. Specifically, the person at the center of the meme does a little dance but seems a bit self-conscious.

She Announced Her Pregnancy in February

As mentioned, the past couple of years have been hectic for Ventura and her family. Still, she was able to share the positive news of being pregnant on February 19. She announced it via Instagram with a post that contained five images. 

The first was of her and their two children. Next, Ventura included an image of herself with Fine’s hands on her baby bump. Other photos in the post showed the four of them all together, with both daughters wearing aforale dresses. 

Ventura captioned the post by using an emoji of a woman who happened to be expecting, a blue heart, and the number 3. To date, more than 1.1 million people have liked the post, and there are almost 18,000 comments. This demonstrates exactly how many people were rooting for her happiness. 

Following the initial pregnancy announcement, Ventura shared sporadic updates to social media. She posted images of a date night she had with Fine in March, where they went to the “Mob Land” premiere.

In April, Ventura posted multiple images of herself wearing a black dress. She captioned the post, “Mastering Peace.”
