Brenda Song is celebrating eight years of love with her fiancé, Macaulay Culkin! The couple is mending hearts left and right, thanks to their touching anniversary posts that have the internet in awe.
On June 17, the “Suite Life of Zack & Cody” alum took to Instagram with a romantic message for the actor. “Eight years and there is still no one who makes me laugh or smile like you do. No one who makes me feel more seen, heard, or loved,” she wrote.
She continued, “My partner in crime, my adventure partner, my best friend, my baby daddy, my favorite everything—thank you. To be loved by you is the greatest privilege. Happy anniversary. I love you ❤️”

Brenda Song & Macaulay Culkin: A Love Story Years in the Making
Culkin, best known as the mischievous little Kevin McCallister in “Home Alone,” returned the love with his own touching tribute. Posting a series of dreamy photos of Song walking toward him on a beach, he wrote, “Happy anniversary, babe. Thank you for always coming towards me. You never run away.”
Song, 37, and Culkin, 44, first met in 2014 through actor Seth Green while working on the sitcom
Dads.” Sparks quickly flew, and the couple has kept their relationship relatively private ever since. But, in recent years they have been a tad more open, occasionally offering glimpses into their lives together.
In 2021, the pair welcomed their first son, Dakota, named after Culkin’s late sister. Their second son, Carson, followed in December 2022. The couple quietly got engaged that same year.
Despite their celebrity status, the actors have focused on building a strong, grounded partnership. Speaking to Cosmopolitan, Culkin shared that he knew he loved Song early on, during a Christmas trip to visit her family. “I’d never felt this way before. I believed in her… down to my bone marrow. I put it behind the armor though, behind that shield,” he admitted.
Special Cameos & Projects
Song also reflected on meeting Culkin at a pivotal time in her life. “When I met Mack, there was so much more of me that I hadn’t figured out,” she said. “He made me such a bigger person… I didn’t realize there were so many things I didn’t know about myself.”
Some may say that these two powerhouses connected after sharing a similar background of early fame. Song rose to prominence on the Disney Channel and went on to land roles in “The Social Network,” and Hulu’s “Dollface.”
Most recently, she starred alongside Kate Hudson in Netflix’s “Running Point,” which was just renewed for a second season. Culkin became one of the most recognizable child actors of the 1990s with “Home Alone,” “Richie Rich,” and “My Girl.” He later went on to make a comeback with acting, podcasting, and creative projects. He was also recently seen on “Running Point” for a special cameo, sharing the screen with his wife.
Fans Focus on Love, Not the Drama
While fans were basking in the glow of Song and Culkin’s anniversary celebration, an unexpected figure reentered the conversation, causing quite a chaos online. This is none other than Trace Cyrus.
Cyrus, who’s a musician and older brother to Miley Cyrus, was previously engaged to Song in 2011. The relationship ended years ago, but the Metro Station singer recently stirred controversy by posting a string of now-expired Instagram Stories alleging that Song had faked medical emergencies during their time together.
No verified evidence has surfaced to support these claims, and Song hasn’t publicly responded. But, honestly, we don’t really blame her. It looks like she is busy working on her career as well as her life at home with her two boys.
Despite the unexpected turn of events, fans have chosen to center their attention on the couple’s enduring love story. Social media was flooded with heart emojis and supportive comments on both of their tributes.
“We are blessed to witness this relationship,” one user wrote. Another added, “Thinking of you two together will never not overload my heart with joy.”
Whether you’re team romance or side-eyeing the drama, it’s safe to say that Song and Culkin have something real, and they’re not letting anything dim their light.
So, when’s the wedding?
