Brad Pitt has finally spoken out following the finalization of his high-profile divorce from Angelina Jolie. In a recent interview with GQ, published Wednesday, the “Fight Club” actor was asked whether he felt a sense of relief after reaching a legal settlement with Jolie in December 2024. “No, I don’t think it was that major of a thing,” Pitt said. “Just something coming to fruition. Legally,” he added.

The couple shares six children: Maddox (23), Pax (21), Zahara (20), Shiloh (19), and twins Knox and Vivienne (16).
Brad Pitt Says His Love Life Has Been “Always in the News”
Brad Pitt openly acknowledged how his love life has been “always in the news.” “It’s been in the news for 30 years, bro. Or some version of my personal life, let’s put it that way,” he told GQ.

Currently, Pitt lives in his Los Angeles home with his 32-year-old girlfriend, jewelry executive Ines de Ramon.
When asked if his red carpet appearance with Ines at the 2024 British Grand Prix was a planned move to promote F1, Pitt joked and added, “No, dude, it’s not that calculated. If you’re living, oh my God, how exhausting would that be? If you’re living with making those kinds of calculations? No, life just evolves. Relationships evolve.”
Jolie’s Legal Team Confirms Divorce Settlement; Children Still Estranged
In a December 2024 statement shared with Page Six, Jolie’s attorney James Simon confirmed the split was resolved. “More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt. She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since that time, she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family,” he said.

“This is just one part of a long ongoing process that started eight years ago. Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over.”
Legal documents also revealed that Jolie, 49, waived her right to spousal support from Pitt, 61, “forever.”

In September 2016, Jolie filed for separation and divorce, marking the end of their 13-year relationship. They were declared legally single in 2019.
