“Bob’s Burgers” is dishing out something big. As the Emmy-winning animated series gears up for its 300th episode, fans can expect more than just a milestone. A wave of fresh stories, new guest stars, and holiday mayhem is coming soon. The long-running Fox favorite just gave fans their first taste of what’s ahead.
Loren Bouchard Reveals Bob’s Burgers Flashback Episode and Holiday Specials
During a 2025 San Diego Comic-Con panel, creator Loren Bouchard previewed the 300th episode, which will take a nostalgic turn. As reported by Variety, the story finds Bob facing a pricing dilemma at the restaurant, sparking a series of flashbacks to when he and Linda first opened the business. At the time, Bob is stressed out in the kitchen while Linda is about to give birth.
“It sends us on this kind of series of flashbacks to just what was going on when Bob and Linda started the restaurant,” Bouchard told fans. The episode promises a mix of heartfelt origin story and classic Belcher chaos.
Bouchard also teased two holiday episodes. In the Halloween entry, Teddy gets a job at a suspicious store next door, which turns out to be a cult shop. British comedian Jamie Demetriou, known for “Fleabag” and “Stath Lets Flats,” will guest star. The Christmas episode takes the family to a festive village, and another storyline features Linda’s sister Gail staging a wedding as part of a bizarre art piece with Teddy officiating.
Kristen Schaal, Jamie Demetriou, and Holiday Merch Join the Lineup
The voice cast joined Bouchard on stage, including H. Jon Benjamin (Bob), John Roberts (Linda), Kristen Schaal (Louise), Eugene Mirman (Gene), Dan Mintz (Tina), and Larry Murphy (Teddy). Bouchard reflected on the journey so far, saying, “There’s something absolutely bizarre about doing 300 episodes of the same show across 15 years.”
“The Art of Bob’s Burgers,” a long-awaited book celebrating the show’s visuals, will finally hit shelves on September 23. New merchandise including aprons, recipe cards, and shirts is also on the way.
“Bob’s Burgers” airs on Fox and is produced by 20th Television Animation. The show was co-developed by Jim Dauterive and executive produced by Bouchard, Nora Smith, Dan Fybel, Rich Rinaldi, Greg Thompson, Jon Schroeder, Steven Davis, Scott Jacobson, Holly Schlesinger, Wendy Molyneux, and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin.
After 15 seasons, Bob, Linda, and the kids are still keeping things fresh. With origin stories, cults, holiday villages, and weddings on the menu, the next batch of episodes looks anything but ordinary.
