Actor Ben Affleck made time for a little male bonding with 12-year-old lookalike son Samuel at Thursday’s LA Lakers game. Affleck shares Sam with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
GettyThe father-son duo shared popcorn and chicken fingers in courtside seats as the Lakers took on the Golden State Warriors. Sam sported a jersey with the number 23 on it, paying homage to Lakers great LeBron James.

Affleck and Son Regularly Show Their Lakers Love
GettyThe pair have been spotted at a number of Lakers games together, last November and with now ex-wife Jennifer Lopez last March.
GettyAffleck even enlisted his son’s help introducing the line-up for the NBA All Star Celebrity Game in 2023.
Affleck and Ex-Wife Jennifer Garner Said to Be Growing Closer
GettyEx-wife Jennifer Garner has also taken Sam to some Lakers games. Sources told Page Six that Garner and Affleck have been getting closer since his divorce from Jennifer Lopez was finalized on January 6.
The pair famously spend holidays together with their three children. In addition to youngest child Sam, the pair have daughters Violet, 19 and Seraphina, 16. Last Thanksgiving, they volunteered together at The Midnight Mission, serving meals to about 2,000 homeless and food insecure people in downtown Los Angeles.
The Daily Mail also caught photos of the two attending a school play for one of their children in January. The Mail article states that Affleck reportedly fled his $20.5M five-bedroom, six-bathroom mansion during the LA wildfires to stay at Jennifer’s nearby $7.8M four-bedroom Brentwood Park home. Both homes ultimately survived the blaze.
Garner Has Referred to Affleck as “the Love of My Life”
GettyAffleck and Garner first met on the set of “Pearl Harbor” in 2001. They were married from 2005 to 2015. In a 2016 interview with Vanity Fair, Garner famously referred to Affleck as the love of her life. “I didn’t marry the big fat movie star; I married him,” she says. “And I would go back and remake that decision. I ran down the beach to him, and I would again. You can’t have these three babies and so much of what we had. He’s the love of my life. What am I going to do about that? He’s the most brilliant person in any room, the most charismatic, the most generous. He’s just a complicated guy. I always say, ‘When his sun shines on you, you feel it.’ But when the sun is shining elsewhere, it’s cold. He can cast quite a shadow.”
