Arnold Schwarzenegger Reacts to Son’s Risque ‘White Lotus’ Scene

Arnold Schwarzenegger is proving that talent runs in the family, as he showed up in full support of his son, Patrick Schwarzenegger, at the star-studded premiere of HBO’s “The White Lotus” Season 3. The highly anticipated new season, set in Thailand, debuted at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles on Monday night, drawing in Hollywood’s elite including Patrick’s family, who turned out in rare form for the occasion.

The former Governor of California captioned an Instagram post, “What a show! I could claim to be surprised to find out he has a nude scene, but what can I say – the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Don’t miss it this Sunday – trust me.”

Patrick, who portrays Saxon Ratliff in the upcoming season, was joined on the red carpet by his fiancée Abby Champion, parents Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, and sister Katherine Schwarzenegger. Also in attendance was his brother-in-law, Marvel superstar Chris Pratt, making it a full family affair. The event marked a rare public appearance of the entire Schwarzenegger-Shriver clan, captured in a touching group photo.

Patrick’s Big Moment & Family Support

For Patrick Schwarzenegger, landing a role in “The White Lotus” was a milestone, and he had none other than his mother, Maria Shriver, to thank for pushing him toward it. Speaking to Access Hollywood’s Zuri Hall, Patrick revealed, “She was a huge fan of the show. She’s here somewhere, fan-girling out about it all.” He also shared his excitement about having his entire family present, admitting, “My whole family is here to watch, they’re so excited.”

Patrick, who has previously appeared in “The Staircase” and “The Terminal List“, described his “White Lotus” character, Saxon Ratliff, as a “douche that works for his father.” Despite his growing success, he joked that he might have to leave the room when his family watches certain episodes of the show.

A New Direction for ‘White Lotus’

Jennifer Coolidge’s Tanya won’t be making a return after her over-the-top exit in Season 2. With her fan-favorite character gone, “The White Lotus” Season 3, set to premiere Feb. 16 on Max, introduces a new lineup of guests.
