Proving her versatility as an actress, Oscar-nominated Florence Pugh is now exploring the music world. This time around, she decided to team up with singer Yungblud in his latest single, “Zombie.” The “Marvel” star appears in the emotionally charged music video as a health worker. Yungblud, who has never shied away from heavy themes, said the song was inspired by personal tragedy. “The song was written initially about my grandmother going through serious injury and trauma, leading her to become a different person to whom she was before,” he shared. “It’s about the feeling of deterioration and ugliness; shutting out the world and the people we love out of the fear of becoming a burden or an embarrassment.”

The 27-year-old singer added that “Zombie” is meant to resonate universally. He reminded people that “we all want someone or something to comfort us, no matter how we are right now or who we become in the future.”
