Victoria Monét Gets Personal With a New Project and Hints at Fresh Music

Three-time Grammy winner Victoria Monét is celebrating a new title—children’s book author. On June 24, she released her debut picture book “Everywhere You Are”, inspired by her personal journey as a mother. The singer made the announcement across national TV appearances on “CBS Mornings” and the “TODAY Show”, where she shared how the story was written to help her daughter, Hazel, cope with separation and reassure her of their unbreakable bond.

To mark the big day, Monét also posted on Instagram with an enthusiastic release-day message:

“EVERYWHERE YOU ARE 🌙 🌌 🌟 💜 is out everywhere now!!!! I really hope you all enjoy this bonding experience through reading and the reassurance of ever present love!

Fans flooded the comments in support, calling it “a bestseller” and celebrating her latest milestone. One fan wrote, “About to order my copy ❤️” while another added, “So proud of you mama ❤️ congrats on another huge achievement!!”

The book, released in partnership with Penguin Kids, is now available in both English and Spanish editions.

Turning ‘Mom Guilt’ Into a Storybook

“Everywhere You Are”—available now—is a lyrical picture book written by Monét and illustrated by Alea Marley, designed for ages 2 to 5 . The story follows a loving “moon” and a curious “star” as they part ways at night, offering reassurance that distance never diminishes their bond. Monét channels real-life parenting emotions, addressing separation anxiety and “mom guilt”, per People report. Through tender rhymes and emotive artwork, she reassures both children and parents that “I’ll always be your moon… I’ll be everywhere you are.”

The bilingual English–Spanish edition also features an audiobook narrated by Monét, with a voice cameo by her daughter, Hazel. Inspired by her own experiences juggling music and motherhood, Monét said the process brought her “a sense of peace”—hopeful the book fosters emotional resilience in other families.

More Than a Book: New Music and Mother-Daughter Moments

Monét didn’t stop at literature. In the TV interviews, she confirmed she’s hard at work on a new full-length album, mentioning continued progress and a summer collaboration with Davido titled “Offa Me”. That song, released April 17, charted impressively—peaking at No. 2 on the UK Afrobeats chart and No. 5 on the U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart.

The timing aligns with several joyful family appearances: Monét and Hazel recently shared a sweet mother‑daughter moment on the red carpet at the 2025 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, both dressed in coordinating pink ensembles. And this spring, Monét celebrated a musical milestone by taking Hazel to her first Beyoncé “Cowboy Carter” concert, calling it “one of my all-time biggest dreams come true”.

Between red carpet moments and heartfelt storytelling, Victoria Monét continues to show how she’s blending motherhood with creativity in meaningful ways.

With “Everywhere You Are” officially out and new music in the works, Monét is making space for both the personal and professional—reminding fans she’s still just getting started.
