Is a SZA and Taylor Swift collaboration in the works? During an appearance on “The Jennifer Hudson Show” on March 21, 2025, SZA said it’s possible!
SZA and Swift bonded at the 2025 Grammys, which left SZA starstruck, even though they’ve met several times prior.
“Every time she walks up to me or approaches me, I’m just like, ‘All right, this is happening, because that’s fully Taylor Swift,'” SZA joked, according to People.
She even offered to write for Swift, telling Hudson, “I think I mentioned that I would love to write with her and build some things together. I love her storytelling. She was open to it.”
“I think she’s awesome,” she added. “She’s so bossed up.”
Hopefully, we’ll get a collab soon!
SZA And Kendrick Lamar’s GNX Tour Kicks Off In April 2025
SZA and Kendrick Lamar will embark on a joint tour on April 19 in Minneapolis, which they previewed at the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show. In the middle of Lamar’s headlining performance, SZA joined the rapper for two songs: “Luther” and “All the Stars.”
“One time he gave me the pointer of pretending to watch myself from above,” SZA told Hudson on her talk show about Lamar’s advice to her ahead of their stadium tour. “He sees himself while he’s performing, and it actually changed a lot for me. It was weird, when I was watching myself from afar, I was like, ‘This not what I want to see, I want to see something different. I want to turn up.’ Then I just started, like, invoking a completely different energy and spirit within myself.”
“We’re both just kind of throwing all the paint at the wall… this is our first stadium show for the two of us, so we have to pretty much go insane,” SZA said on a March 11, 2025 episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” about the GNX Tour, according to E! News.
At the moment, SZA and Lamar’s song “Luther” has so far spent four consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
