“Love On the Brain” singer Rihanna and “Mufasa” star Blue Ivy Carter were seen walking near each other at the Rolling Loud music festival which was held March 15-16, 2025.
A YouTube channel called Ntombé shared video footage of the two starlets walking through the venue. Carter is seen first, with Rihanna later following not far behind.
Blue Ivy Made Headlines for a Cutting Edge Fashion Choice
Most of Beyoncé’s fans remember Blue Ivy Carter’s birth announcement like it was yesterday, which is why it’s so hard to believe that the superstar’s oldest daughter is now a 13-year-old trendsetter.
Carter has recently made style news by embracing the statement-making “sunglasses at night” trend.
A March 17 Teen Vogue piece called the look a “cool girl trend,” noting the growing popularity of using shades for their aesthetic rather than function.
The mag pointed out the other times the emerging artist has donned the look, recalling the 2025 Superbowl and a 2023 “Renaissance” tour performance with her mom.
Besides showcasing the sunglasses trend, Carter’s Superbowl look showed that baggy cargo pants and tiny bags are still going strong amongst the youthful set of fashionistas.
The “Blue’s Freestyle” rapper has had an array of wide-ranging fashion moments throughout the end of 2024 and beginning of 2025. While her festival and Superbowl outfits were the epitome of casual cool, she served regal elegance at Disney’s “Mufasa” premiere in a metallic gold gown which was by Christian Siriano, according to Women’s Wear Daily.
Then at the 2025 Grammys, Carter turned heads as she stepped onstage to support Beyoncé during her acceptance speech for Album Of The Year in a silky blue Naeem Khan dress, which Harper’s Bazaar gave all the details on.

Rihanna’s Partner A$AP Rocky Performed at the Festival
The “Problems” rapper was a headliner at the hip hop extravaganza, and Rihanna was naturally on the sidelines to support the father of her sons, RZA and Riot Rose.
The star arrived for his set in an unforgettable way by jumping out of a helicopter, according to Billboard’s recap of the show.
The report says he performed favorite hits as well as two unreleased songs, including one called “Your Honor” produced by Metro Boomin, in his first live show since triumphantly beating the case that could have derailed his career.
Fans Don’t Know If Blue Ivy & Rihanna Were Together
It’s unknown whether Rihanna and Carter were actually attending Rolling Loud together, or just happened to be walking in the same spot.
However, fans think the possibility is there, as one observer commented on Instagram, “Rih is the cool auntie/supervision.”
Rihanna has been known to appear close to the Carter family in the past, such as the adorable moment she brought Beyoncé and Jay Z’s nephew, Julez, onstage with her as she collected a Grammy award for “Run This Town” in 2010.
