Ozzy was buried in an intimate ceremony on the grounds of his Buckinghamshire estate, where he had lived with his wife, Sharon Osbourne, since 1993.
The Black Sabbath frontman, who died at age 76, was laid to rest beside a peaceful lake surrounded by 110 close friends and family members.
A floral wreath at the water’s edge read “Ozzy f***ing Osbourne,” while another spelled out his name in bold white blooms near the fountain—touching tributes that brought both laughter and tears.
Sharon, Kelly & Jack Led an Emotional Farewell in Birmingham
Days before the private burial, Sharon Osbourne joined children Kelly and Jack for a public procession in Birmingham. Fans lined the Black Sabbath Bridge to pay tribute, as Sharon tearfully laid a bouquet of purple flowers wrapped in black paper.
Wearing Ozzy’s wedding ring on a chain around her neck, she leaned on her children for support.
Kelly mirrored her father’s signature look with round sunglasses, while rarely-seen daughter Aimee stood by the family, flashing peace signs at adoring fans.
Family Photos Capture Ozzy’s Private Side
In a moving Instagram tribute shared on Sunday, Aug. 3, the 34-year-old wife of Jack Osbourne honored her late father-in-law with a carousel of personal family photos.
“I’m pretty sure I have the coolest father-in-law around, and the best papa to my kids,” Aree wrote. “The world got a rockstar, but we got an ice lolly-loving, goofy, big-hearted guy who made us laugh like no other.”
In her caption, Aree expressed deep appreciation for the way Ozzy supported her family. “He was always in my corner and I forever am thankful to him for raising my husband and blessing me w my family,” she wrote.

According to a family friend, the Osbourne home was decorated with personal photographs of Ozzy, and every guest received a framed photo as a keepsake.
Tents and a tribute stage were set up across the estate, with performances expected, including one by singer Yungblud.
“Ozzy wanted his final resting place to be at home, and he is buried at a beautiful point on the lake,” said a family source. “There were tears, but also laughter.”
