Orlando Bloom’s ex-wife, Miranda Kerr, probably isn’t choosing sides after Bloom’s split with singer Katy Perry. The two share a 24-year-old son, Flynn, after all. But in a recent Instagram post, Kerr made it clear that her friendship with the former “American Idol” judge isn’t affected by the split.

On July 29, Kerr posted a carousel of Instagram photos, captioning it, “Summer so far 🪩❤️🍰🌸.” The “Victoria’s Secret” model posted pictures from her time in France, such as the Eiffel Tower and The Balloon Museum’s “Euphoria – Art is in the Air” exhibit.
Artist David Hockney’s “Three Daffodils in a Bottle, pastries, and some rolled out dough with the words Flynn and Miranda etched into it were also featured. There were also photos of Kerr dining at a restaurant and a bouquet of roses.
But what caught everyone’s attention was the Australian model and a friend’s selfie at a concert. The following video shows Katy Perry belting out “California Gurls.” We knew precisely what concert she attended: Katy Perry’s “Lifetimes” tour.
Many of Kerr’s followers were thrilled to see her subtle show of support for Perry amid her split from Bloom.

“Girl support girl 👏👏,” wrote another. “Miranda you are one classy lady 😍”
A Modern Friendship Built on Support and Love
Kerr was married to Bloom from 2010 to 2013, and the two are parents to 14-year-old Flynn. Four years after their split, Kerr married Evan Spiegel, the co-founder of Snapchat, and had three more sons: Hart, Myles, and Pierre.
The fact that Kerr is still friends with Bloom and supported her by attending her show isn’t a surprise. After Bloom began dating Perry in 2016, the two became friends.
On the “Moments with Candace Parker” podcast, Kerr admitted that they “celebrate all the important milestones together,” and even took holidays together. “I love her,” Kerr gushed. “I mean, it’d be safe to say that I love her more than Flynn’s dad [Bloom],” she added.
Perry has also posted pictures of herself and Kerr spending time together, supporting Kerr’s skincare line, Kora Organics, and doing yoga.
After giving birth to their daughter, Daisy Dove, in 2020, Kerr made sure to congratulate the couple. “I’m so happy for you guys,” Kerr wrote. “Can’t wait to meet her.”
It’s great to see that the women’s friendship is still strong.
