Where to Listen to Jujutsu Kaisen’s New Acoustic Theme Song Version of ‘Where Our Blue Is’

A new acoustic version of the theme song for Jujutsu Kaisen’s Hidden Inventory/Premature Death arc is being released on May 30 alongside the new compilation movie. We have all the details below on where you can go to listen to the song.

The New Acoustic Version Is Releasing With the Movie

Tatsuya Kitani’s “Where Our Blue Is” is the opening theme song for the TV broadcast and Crunchyroll stream of the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death arc. Fans loved the song, and it has more than 100 million views on YouTube alone.

GKIDS reported that a new acoustic version is being released on May 30. It will likely be available at the same time or shortly after the movie’s premiere in Japan, which happens at 17:55 Japan time (about 4:55 a.m. Eastern on May 30.)

The official Jujutsu Kaisen website shared a link to the different websites where the full acoustic version will be released. Until it’s available, a short teaser version is already out on some of the links below, including KKBOX.

You can listen to the full three-minute version of the song at these websites:

You can listen to the original version (with lyrics) below:

If you’re wanting to see the movie in Japan, a list of all the theaters where it will be airing is here. Otherwise, you’ll need to wait until July 16 to watch it in theaters in the U.S. The movie will be released in both sub and dub versions, according to GKIDS’ press release.

GKIDS’ synopsis of the movie reads: “Before they were enemies, Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto were high school classmates and friends. The two powerful sorcerers are tasked with protecting Riko Amanai, a student who has been designated to be sacrificed as the Star Plasma Vessel, until she can fulfill her duty. Pursued by a religious cult and other curse users, they are the only sorcerers capable of carrying out such a difficult task – but this mission will set their destinies, and challenge the two sorcerers in ways unimaginable.”

The movie is animated by MAPPA and produced by Toho animation. In the U.S., GKIDS has the license to distribute it. While it will likely release on Crunchyroll too at some point in the future, we don’t yet know when.
