Lady Gaga is currently embarking on the US leg of her sold-out “Mayhem Ball” tour. As fans know, this is in support of her latest album, “Mayhem,” which the singer released to critical and commercial acclaim in March. Recently, she suffered a nasty fall while performing but immediately recovered.
Notably, Lady Gaga’s fall at her concert comes after other high-profile singers have suffered malfunctions while on stage. This includes Beyonce’s car incident as well as Katy Perry almost falling from a butterfly during her “Lifetimes” tour.
Lady Gaga Fell At Her Tour While Singing ‘Vanish Into You’
Lady Gaga’s new tour has already gotten rave reviews. The show, which officially kicked off in Las Vegas on July 16, will consist of 63 tour stops. While performing in Vegas recently, the singer and actress suffered a scary fall.
One of her fans, who posts under the name of Mayhem on X, wrote, “New video of Lady Gaga slipping and falling during one of her shows in Las Vegas, even the cameraman slipped beforehand!” In the video, Lady Gaga is seen first helping the cameraman after he almost fell before she did.
From there, she attempts to go around a corner and then slips and falls. She then gets right back up without skipping a beat when it comes to singing “Vanish Into You,” which is from her new album. It’s unclear if the floor was wet, but it seems likely as she wasn’t the only one impacted by it.
This is one of the parts of Lady Gaga’s “Mayhem Ball” tour where she enters the aisles of the arena. Because of this, some in the audience may not have been aware that she had fallen, which is why there was still so much cheering from the crowd before she recovered.
The ‘Mayhem Ball’ Tour Is A Spectacle of Epic Proportions
Lady Gaga announced the “Mayhem Ball” tour in March. The singer wrote on Instagram, “I wasn’t planning to tour this year after my shows in Singapore, but the incredible response to the new album inspired me to keep things going.”
She continued, “It came together super quickly thanks to Arthur Fogel and the amazing team at Live Nation, who planned a global tour in just a few weeks. We chose arenas this time to give me the opportunity to control the details of the show in a way you simply can’t in stadiums—and honestly, I can’t wait.”
Lady Gaga then said, “This show is designed to be the kind of theatrical and electrifying experience that brings MAYHEM to life exactly how I envision it. The MAYHEM Ball Tour is officially coming your way. See you soon, monsters.”
So far, fans and critics alike are raving about the new tour. This comes as rumors have surfaced that she will release a deluxe version of “Mayhem.” Notably, reports say she has registered a new song called “Dead Dance” and that Tim Burton directed the music video.
