Katy Perry Reveals Knee Injury Following Brave Concert Stunt

Katy Perry is currently embarking on her “Lifetimes Tour” in support of her latest album, “143.” The beloved singer has had some scary moments while on stage. However, she recently took to social media to detail a rather intense knee injury she sustained while entertaining her fans. 

Perry posted a series of pictures and videos to Instagram on July 6 of her time on the road. The “Woman’s World” singer captioned the post, “We continue to be on tour.” The first picture is of Perry on a bicycle with her hand extended up. In this one, she seems to be enjoying a bit of downtime. 

However, the third image Perry posted is a bit more concerning. It finds her soaking in a tub and showing off her concert injury, a severely bruised and bloody knee. Following this, there’s a screenshot of a text message where she discusses what happened. 

Perry wrote, “It was a slide on my knees mome. That usually makes them go ahhh, and it just made me go arghh.” The person replied, “And just like that she’s in her 40s.” The Instagram post then includes more pictures and videos from Perry’s “Lifetimes” tour. Some of the footage is from backstage. 

Perry Is on Tour Until the End of the Year

Perry began her “Lifetimes Tour” on April 23 in Mexico City at the Arena CDMX. So far, singer Rebecca Black has served as her opening act for many of the tour dates. The show has gotten rave reviews from her die-hard fans as it includes both new music and many of her classics. She also has a segment of the show where fans get to choose what songs she performs. 

According to Ticketmaster, Perry will end the US leg of her tour on August 23 in Miami at the Kaseya Center. From there, she has a series of international concerts extending to the end of the year. 

The Beloved Singer May Have Love in Her Life

Sadly, Perry has ended her year-long relationship with Orlando Bloom. The two began dating in 2016 and had a daughter in 2020. The great thing is that the two seem amicable as they embark on their co-parenting journey. 

Now, Perry has sparked rumors that she could be romantically involved with Justin Trudeau, who is the former Prime Minister of Canada. Of course, they could simply be friends, but TMZ reported on July 29 that they were seen out to dinner.
