Now, TMZ has spoken with insiders who have direct knowledge of the situation between Janet Jackson and Maxwell. Notably, the source who spoke to the outlet has been in touch with Janet since the photos were taken. 

They stated that the two are not romantically involved with one another. Instead, they have remained friends for quite some time, which makes sense as they are both veterans in similar genres of music. 

The Janet Jackson And Maxwell Rumors Stemmed From an Event In London

According to PEOPLE, Janet Jackson and Maxwell were photographed attending the Playhouse Theatre in London to watch “Cabaret.” The show was the 1,500th performance of the beloved play. They arrived at the venue and walked in hand in hand.

Janet Jackson, who will forever be a fashion icon, wore a white pantsuit and had her hair styled in a bun. Regarding Maxwell, he wore all black for the occasion with his longtime friend. He also donned a pair of sunglasses. The photo was taken on July 7. 

Other famous attendees were Eddie Redmayne and Helena Bonham Carter. Regarding their dating lives, this outing comes eight years after Janet Jackson’s divorce from Wissam Al Mana. Their marriage lasted for five years and they share one son. Regarding Maxwell, he keeps his love life relatively private.

They Both Remain Busy In Their Respective Careers

Janet Jackson is one of the most beloved pop icons on the planet. Luckily for her fans, she remains fairly active in music despite the years since her last release. She embarked on her “State of the World” tour in 2017, and it ran until 2019.
