Ever since Ozzy Osbourne‘s passing, tributes have been pouring in from all over the world. While fans and loved ones remember him as the legend he was, there is a special tribute for dearest Ozzy that’s melting hearts online. Jack Osbourne’s wife Aree Gearhart is remembering Ozzy not just as a rock legend, but as the heart of her family.
A Fitting Tribute For The ‘Coolest Father-In-Law’
In a moving Instagram tribute shared on Sunday, Aug. 3, the 34-year-old wife of Jack Osbourne, Ozzy’s son, honored her late father-in-law with a carousel of personal family photos and a caption filled with love and gratitude.
“I’m pretty sure I have the coolest father-in-law around, and the best papa to my kids,” Aree wrote. “The world got a rockstar, but we got an ice lolly-loving, goofy, big-hearted guy who made us laugh like no other.”
A Carousel Full Of Beautiful Family Photos
The tribute began with a wedding day photo of Aree smiling arm-in-arm with Ozzy. Additional images included the rocker cuddling with his granddaughter Maple, now 3, and lounging with her as a newborn resting on his chest.
Aree also shared Ozzy dining with her parents, kissing Maple on the cheek, and enjoying a boat outing with his wife, Sharon Osbourne, and their extended family.
One particularly tender photo showed Ozzy leaning on Sharon aboard a plane while she held baby Maple in her arms.
In another photo, Aimee Osbourne, Jack, Aree, & three of Ozzy’s grandchildren can be seen celebrating Christmas in matching holiday hats.
“We’ll Keep Your Name Loud”
In her caption, Aree expressed deep appreciation for the way Ozzy supported her family.
“He was always in my corner and I forever am thankful to him for raising my husband and blessing me w my family,” she wrote.
She ended the tribute with a message that spoke to her hope of feeling his presence even after death.
“We got Nana always, Papa. Keep giving us all those signs from above 🖤✨. We’ll keep your name loud, your stories alive, and your love wrapped around us like armor. Forever our guy.”
A Family in Mourning After Ozzy’s Passing at 76

Jack & Aree, who secretly wed in 2023, share one child. Jack is also father to daughters Pearl, 13, Andy, 10, & Minnie, 7, with his ex-wife Lisa Stelly.
Aree’s tribute follows Ozzy’s funeral, which took place on July 30 in his hometown of Birmingham, England, where the Osbourne family gathered to say their final goodbyes.
