Musician Ozzy Osbourne speaks as producer Jack Osbourne looks on at the “God Bless Ozzy Osbourne” Press Conference during the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival at the SVA Theater on April 25, 2011, in New York City.

During the episode, Jack shared a lighthearted anecdote about his childhood and his iconic dad’s quirky food habits.

“I grew up on potato waffles until we moved to America,” Jack said while preparing a dish for the judges, as reported by the Daily Mail. “We would get take-out all the time, apart from times when we had a chef. We’d get through them all the time because we were a family of really picky eaters, and my dad would think that he could cook it better.”

The moment offered fans a glimpse into the everyday life of the “Prince of Darkness,” a man known globally for his music but remembered by his family for his humor and warmth.

In a moving Instagram tribute shared on Sunday, Aug. 3, the 34-year-old wife of Jack Osbourne honored her late father-in-law with family photos and a caption filled with love.
