The BETNetworks YouTube channel will have live red carpet coverage starting at 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time, and the stream is already available for fans to que up below.

The pre-show, which includes the red carpet, will also air live on television on BET. Fans without a cable subscription can access the channel through a variety of subscriptions including Sling, Hulu + Live TV, DirecTV and Philo, according to Billboard. Several of these offer free trials.

Kevin Hart Hosts the BET Awards Tonight, June 9 2025

The fan favorite funny man is back to host the BET Awards for the second time, after first doing the honors back in 2011.

Kevin Hart celebrated his son’s prom night days ahead of his hosting gig. He captioned an Instagram photo of 17-year-old Hendrix posing with his date, “They grow up fast…. Love them as hard as you can while you can!!!!! So proud of the man that you are becoming son!!!!” The proud dad also told the high schooler “I love you” and declared Hendrix and his date both looked “amazing.”

Kendrick Lamar Is Most Nominated Artist at 2025 BET Awards

Coming off his huge 2025 headlining Super Bowl performance which Billboard says raked in 133.5 million viewers, the “Swimming Pools (Drank)” rapper leads the pack with 10 nods.

The categories in which he his nominated include Album of the Year and Video of the Year, per the BET website. The album that grabbed him the nom in “GNX,” which he released in November 2024. The video for which he could win an award is for his mega hit “Not Like Us” which went viral after being released on the Fourth of July in 2024.

In October of that year, the hip-hop star told Harper’s Bazaar what the song means to him. “Not Like Us is the energy of who I am, the type of man I represent,” Lamar said in a joint interview with SZA.

The father of two went on to further explain, “He’s a man who can recognize his mistakes and not be afraid to share the mistakes and can dig deep down into fear-based ideologies or experiences to be able to express them without feeling like he’s less of a man.”
