KISS for Luck! Gene Simmons Offers Fans Chance of a Lifetime

Fans of the rock band KISS have a new opportunity to show their love. KISS bassist Gene Simmons is about to hit the road for a new tour, and he’s going to take some lucky fans along for the ride.

On his official website, Simmons is offering fans the opportunity to be his “personal assistant and band roadie” for a day when his “Gene Simmons Band” goes on tour.

It’s called “The Ultimate Gene Simmons Experience.” It offers one fan per tour stop the opportunity to not only meet Simmons and his band, but also to assist with loading in equipment at the venue, setting up the stage, listening to sound check and spending time backstage.

The “roadie for a day” will also join Simmons for a meal, and the rocker will introduce the fan on stage during the concert itself.

But all of that doesn’t come cheap. “The Ultimate Gene Simmons Experience” costs a cool $12,495, and that doesn’t even include the concert ticket!

Gene Simmons Offering Variety of Fan Experiences on Tour

If that’s too rich for your blood, Simmons has another option for die-hard fans. “The Gene Simmons Base Experience” offers fans a chance to meet Simmons backstage at a concert and take home one of his basses! Fans who chose a bass that hasn’t been played in concert pay $6,500. For a stage-played bass, the price starts at $12,500. In addition to getting the bass and its case autographed, fans can take pictures and videos with the rocker. They can even bring along three friends!

KISS Releases 20 Minute Recap of Final Show

Simmons’ iconic hard rock band KISS played their final show on December 2, 2023 at Madison Square Garden, as the finale of the band’s “End of the Road” farewell tour.

The band recently posted a nearly 20-minute recap of that final show on YouTube.

The Gene Simmons Band Will Start Touring in April

The Gene Simmons Band’s first tour date is April 3 in Anaheim, California. In an Instagram post, Simmons promises fans he’ll play all “the classics you want to hear plus all kinds of chestnuts you ain’t ever heard.” Simmons also promises to pull fans up on stage at every show.
