Dua Lipa is officially off the market! The pop star has confirmed she’s engaged to actor Callum Turner, sharing the joyful news during her cover interview with British Vogue, which was published on Thursday, June 12.
“Yeah, we’re engaged,” Lipa said. “It’s very exciting.”
Dua Can’t Stop Gushing About the Engagement Ring
The 29-year-old singer revealed Turner designed the ring with help from her close friends and sister.
“I’m obsessed with it. It’s so me,” Lipa told the outlet. “It’s nice to know the person that you’re going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.”
She also reflected on the moment with raw honesty, admitting she didn’t fully understand the emotional depth of an engagement until it happened to her.
“This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever – it’s a really special feeling.”
Dua Lipa Isn’t Rushing to Plan the Wedding Just Yet
While the engagement is official, wedding prep isn’t quite on the calendar. Between her ongoing tour and Turner’s filming schedule, the couple is simply soaking in the moment.
“I want to finish my tour, Callum’s shooting, so we’re just enjoying this period,” she shared. “I’ve never been someone who’s really thought about a wedding… All of a sudden I’m like: ‘Oh, what would I wear?’”
