Newlywed Demi Lovato‘s latest Instagram post has us all wishing we could escape to paradise.
The “Confident” singer and actor tied the knot with Canadian singer-songwriter Jordan “Jutes” Lutes in May. On Monday, she shared her “honeymoon dump,” Page Six reports.
As her series of photos suggest, the two shared many romantic moments at an exotic locale with a white-sand beach, crystal-clear waters and over-the-water bungalows. There are several photos of Lovato and Lutes kissing: in one, they are seated at a table on the beach, and in another, there is a rainbow in the background.
The newlyweds also went jet skiing and, in a video, Lovato is seen holding a partially opened coconut that has a straw inside.
During the trip, Lovato documented her outfits, such as a red bikini with dark sunglasses, a red and white polka dot dress with spaghetti straps and a ruffle hem and a striped swimsuit with a bandeau top. Leave it to Lovato to stay cool for the summer.
On TikTok, Lovato named the location of her honeymoon: Bora Bora, a small island in French Polynesia known for its beaches and luxury resorts. The last time Lovato posted about being in Bora Bora was in May 2019, People reports.
In another TikTok, Lovato reenacted the popular “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” scene in which Kim loses an earring in the water. “Kim, there are people that are dying,” Lutes mouthed, joining in on the fun as he played the part of Kourtney Kardashian.
Demi Lovato & Jutes’ Relationship
According to Vogue, the couple met in January 2022 while working on Demi’s eighth album together, with Lutes co-writing some of the songs. The two got engaged in December 2023 after almost two years of dating. Jutes proposed with a pear-shaped diamond ring and on her wedding, Demi wore a Vivienne Westwood dress.
On May 25, 2025, Lovato and Jutes wed at an oceanfront estate in Santa Barbara, California, People reports.
In September 2024, Lovato told People she had waited her whole life for him. “It’s very grounding to have a partner that is so supportive, so loving, so caring,” she said. Lovato added that it’s easy for her to “stay centered” with him.

Lutes was born and raised in Ottawa, Canada. His stage name, “Jutes” is a portmanteau of his first and last name. Lutes moved to Los Angeles to become a musician.
In a 2021 interview with The Nuance Magazine, he mentioned that he was signed to Capitol Records at one point but was forced to part ways with the label due to budget cuts during the pandemic. Although he has been an independent artist for years, he announced a few weeks ago that he worked with the label Positions to create his upcoming 15-track album “Dilworth.”
Lutes currently has four albums on Spotify. His most recent album, Sleepyhead, was released in 2024.
