Jordan Davis is pulling out all stops when it comes to promoting his new tour.
The rising country star has made the rounds in the media to celebrate the “Ain’t Enough Road Tour” — appearing on CBS Mornings Plus and giving an interview to Billboard.
Davis also managed to make a stop at Peloton, the online fitness company. There, he not only promoted the tour as well as the new single, “Bar None,” but he also participated in a class.
The Best Class, Bar None
Davis peddled alongside instructor Hannah Corbin to her Country Happy Hour Ride series. This style of class contains upbeat country songs to ride to from emerging and established artists.
Corbin’s playlist for the class, which premiered on Sunday, March 30, included multiple songs by Davis from his many releases. Other musicians that make up the playlist include Caylee Hammack, Orville Peck and Thomas Rhett.
Artists also featured in the series’ other classes include Miranda Lambert, Beyonce, Mickey Guyton, Lainey Wilson, Luke Bryan, Kane Brown, Sam Hunt and many more.
Part of the Country Happy Hour Ride series features instructor Corbin giving inspired toasts in between songs. She let Davis have a crack at the tradition.
“This is to our friends that have seen us at our best and have seen us at our worst and can’t tell a difference,” he toasted before the class cheered and took sips of water.
Corbin also took this chance to give a cheers inspired by a Davis song, “Almost Maybes.”
“Cheers to the things that didn’t work out that we once wanted to,” she proclaims.
The line is a reference to a verse from the bridge where Davis sings the line “from the didn’t work outs” before stating “There wouldn’t be no you and me right now // If it weren’t for the almost maybes.”
A Truly Authentic Time
Corbin mentions Davis is a Peloton user at home. However, he was quick to say that he wasn’t in the best position to ride at the moment. Particularly, Davis said he smelled like tequila because he was out celebrating a birthday the night before.
At one point, the country star mistakenly spat out his gum.
Performing on stage is a workout in itself. Musicians are often providing as much energy as the crowd as they bounce around the stage. Davis was having trouble keeping up. At a couple points, he said it was hard to talk and cycle at the same time.
“I don’t know how you do this and talk. I can barely breathe,” Davis said during the cooldown portion at the end. “I can’t even laugh!”
His spirits were high enough to keep the party going, though, to suggest the person next to him is taking everyone out after the class.
“There’s a bar across the street, Caleb’s getting everybody’s tab,” Davis said, finally able to laugh. “Get whatever you want!”
The “Ain’t Enough Road Tour” begins this fall. See the announcement video featuring Payton Manning and Jim Nantz below.
