Rapper Cardi B dished on just how much money she spends on her children while on X Spaces Friday, May 30.
The 32-year-old revealed the whopping amount of money she spends just on transportation.
“Y’all want to know what’s the kids’ bills? Start adding,” Cardi B said. “My kids got their own driver. The kids’ driver is on a retainer for $10,000 a month.”
She shares three children with rapper ex Offset: Kulture, 6, Wave, 3, and Blossom, 8 months.
The Expenses Continue
The “I Like It” singer was discussing the jaw dropping amount of money she spends, as she vented about her ex-husband allegedly not contributing.
Cardi B said Kulture’s private school costs $45,000 and that doesn’t include additional tutoring.
“Kulture’s piano class — that’s $300 an hour, and she gets piano classes three times a week. I’m not sure how much is gymnastics and Wave’s boxing classes, but I pay for that, too,” she added.
Babysitting was another expense Cardi B revealed came with a high price tag. She said she pays her cousin $3,000 per week to care for Wave and Kulture.
The Grammy-winner also has a nanny for her youngest child, which costs $500 per shift.
“This is not even including food,” Cardi B added. “My kids have a personal chef that come from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. that I pay for because people in my house don’t have time to cook.”
In total, Cardi B, who’s real name is Belcalis Marlenis Cephus (née Almánzar), said between everything she is spending a lot.
“Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar pays over $50,000 just on her kids alone,” Cardi B added. “I have to pay that bill. No help.”
Cardi B Shares Her Dream for Her Kids
Cardi B expressed how she dreams of leaving her children with more than what she had.
In a lengthy Instagram post April 1, she gave a heartfelt statement on how she wants to give her kids more than just her music and property. The post also revealed she will have upcoming fashion and beauty lines with Revolve.
“Coming from a Caribbean family the goal is always to OWN! Our belief in leaving this earth and leaving our children is leaving them with something!” she began.
“What our parents and grandparents work so hard for was real ownership! I’ve been very successful in my career and forever grateful for my success! But in my mind I know that when I leave this earth I would like to leave my kids more than property and a music catalog,” Cardi B added.
