Jayden Federline, the younger of Britney Spears‘ two sons with Kevin Federline, appeared to show interest in a new career path, and it might not be what you expect.

Jayden Federline’s New Project Was Quickly Posted & Deleted

Jayden Federline appeared to show a desire for a public platform, but he opted not to follow in his mother’s musical footsteps.

The 18-year-old launched a YouTube channel on March 15, 2025, and his first post was a gaming video. The video was titled “THIS GAME IS SO CRAZY [SIFU],” implying it may have been related to the Chinese-set Steam game in which players control a child seeking revenge for the death of their father, a martial arts trainer.

Jayden or someone else has since deleted the video from YouTube.

Although he didn’t showcase them on his new YouTube channel, Federline definitely has some musical talents. A March 11 People report details a now-deleted video the famous teen’s mother posted on her Instagram account of Federline playing a piano melody during a visit to her home.

The outlet reported Spears was heard in the video reacting to her son’s musical skills by exclaiming, “That was really good. My son just played. Oh my God!”

The magazine says the video’s caption read, “He’s a genius and I’m in awe of him !!! I can’t believe he’s mine !!! I was honestly scared that’s not normal !!!”

The video was saved and reposted by the Daily Mail.

Spears previously showed her pride over Jayden in a radiant December 31 shot of the gamer wearing a red tee, baggy jeans, and simple white sneakers with his face illuminated by the sun.

The “Toxic” hitmaker said in the caption that she hadn’t seen her son in “two and half or maybe three years.” Her caption also read in part, “He’s a man and I cry everyday because of the miracle and genius he is!”

Britney Spears’ Child Support Ended In November 2024

Page Six reported on November 12, 2024, that Spears’ court-ordered child support payments to Kevin Federline, 47, had come to an end.

The outlet said the “Breathe On Me” singer had been paying the former aspiring rapper $20,000 a month. The amount was double that before Spears’ older son, Sean Preston, turned 18 on September 14, 2023.

Spears married Federline on October 6, 2004 after a whirlwind courtship that began when she met the former backup dancer at a Hollywood club called Jospeh’s, according to Business Insider.

In November 2006, Spears filed for a divorce that was finalized in July 2007.

In a 2009 MTV documentary, Spears shed light on her failed relationship with Federline.

So why did Britney Spears and Kevin Federline divorce?

“I married for the wrong reasons. Instead of following my heart and like, doing something that made me really happy, I just did it for the sake of-the idea of everything. And it just led me on a weird path,” she said.

She also revealed that while the couple’s two sons were infants, Federline decided he wanted to work on his album alone and was frequently absent.

Addressing the end of the marriage, she said, “He just left me, and I was devastated.”
