After Stage Mishap, Beyoncé Trades Cadillac for Gold Horse & Fans Are Loving It

Turning setbacks into showstopping moments is what true artists do best — and Beyoncé just proved it once again. After a tense onstage glitch grounded her iconic flying Cadillac last month, the global superstar reimagined her Cowboy Carter Tour with a dazzling new twist.

On July 10 in Atlanta, Beyoncé debuted a gold mechanical horse during her performance of “16 Carriages,” galloping high above the arena and reminding fans that when the queen pivots, she does it in style.

A video shared by TheCut on TikTok shows Beyoncé gliding above the crowd on high wires, perched atop the golden horse as its legs move in motion beneath her. The prop swap comes after a technical issue at her June 28 show in Houston, where the red Cadillac began to tilt mid-performance while suspended in the air.

“Stop,” Beyoncé repeated several times in video footage captured by fans. “Thank y’all for your patience,” she added as crew members carefully lowered the car and safely brought her back to the stage, earning a round of applause inside NRG Stadium.

‘She never disappoints’: Fans Call Beyoncé a ‘LEGEND’

Fans are lauding Beyoncé for turning a midair mishap into a golden comeback. Many are calling the new mechanical horse entrance “iconic,” praising her for handling the glitch with grace and style.

One fan wrote: “Every show, every detail 10/10! 🥰” Another comment read: “GIRL I WAS SOBBING ALL NIGHT YOU DID THAT”. Another fan wrote: “Queen for a reason ❤️❤️ “Look at that horse.”

Another admirer chimed in: “Thank you, @beyonce. It was just so incredible…all of it. Grateful to be alive and a fan in your timeline. And, most importantly… 🗣️LOOK AT THAT HORSSSSE!!! 🐎🙌🏾♾️👑🐝”

A Star-Studded, Family Affair

The Cowboy Carter Tour, which kicked off in April in Los Angeles, has traveled through Chicago, New Jersey, London, and Paris, and is set to conclude on July 26 in Las Vegas.

The tour has become a full-circle family moment, with Beyoncé’s daughters Blue Ivy, 13, and Rumi, 8, joining her on stage to perform “Protector.” Jay-Z also made a rare appearance in Paris for a medley of their greatest hits, including “Drunk in Love.”

The tour followed closely on the heels of Beyoncé’s historic Grammy wins in February, where Cowboy Carter took home both Album of the Year and Best Country Album.

“I just feel very full and very honored,” Beyoncé said during her acceptance speech. “I want to dedicate this to Ms. [Linda] Martell, and I hope we just keep pushing forward, opening doors. God bless y’all. Thank you so much.”
